Internal Governance and Compliance Function
The compliance and AML framework is supervised by a designated Compliance Officer, responsible for the implementation, training, and periodic review of regulatory procedures. A risk-based approach is applied throughout the client lifecycle.
Due Diligence Procedures
We implement robust onboarding and monitoring processes, including:
-
Know Your Customer (KYC) and client risk assessment
-
Identification of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO)
-
Screening for Politically Exposed Persons (PEP)
-
Sanction list checks and adverse media monitoring
-
Transaction surveillance and ongoing due diligence
All client profiles and relationships are reviewed periodically, in accordance with our internal AML policy.
Technology and Monitoring Tools
Nowssen Wealth uses certified third-party solutions for AML screening, watchlist checks, and compliance documentation. These tools support real-time verification against international sanctions and enforcement databases.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
We apply a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any breach of financial integrity, including money laundering, corruption, market abuse, or tax evasion. Any suspicious activity is escalated and reported to the competent Swiss authorities.
Sustainable Finance & ESG Integration
In addition to regulatory compliance, Nowssen Wealth integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria across its investment process. We follow the guidelines of the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR – Regulation EU 2019/2088) and maintain an internal ESG framework tailored to our clients' values.
